Hair removal with photoepilation is simple – the light pulse is absorbed by the hair follicle, causing it to die, and the hair does not grow back. After each session, hair growth significantly decreases. Since hair grows in three phases and epilation affects only hairs in the active growth phase, 4–6 sessions are generally recommended for optimal results (the number of sessions depends on skin type, hair structure, age, sex, and hormonal background). Procedures are performed every 4–8 weeks.

The results are long-lasting, reducing the need for daily shaving. Results vary individually – in some cases, hair does not grow back, while others may require additional sessions (2–3 per year). In most cases, hair either does not grow back or grows as sparse, thin, and light hair that does not disturb clients.

Photorejuvenation is performed using the IPL method (IPL – intense pulsed light) and is based on selective photostimulation of collagen synthesis. IPL pulses do not damage the skin surface. The procedure stimulates collagen production, tightens the skin, improves blood circulation and skin tone, and reduces pore size.

As a result of photorejuvenation, wrinkle depth is noticeably reduced; acne-damaged skin is restored; pigment spots are reduced or disappear; and cheek redness decreases. The procedure can be performed on the face, neck, and décolleté area.

Couperose

Couperose is dilated blood vessels visible on the skin as redness or fine red or bluish lines. Causes include genetics, climate, lifestyle, and hormonal changes. Most people in Northern Europe suffer from this due to cold, windy, and humid climates.

Rosacea

Rosacea is a chronic vascular skin condition characterized by facial redness, vascular stars, pustules, and persistent thickening. About 10% of the population is affected. Causes are not fully established, but contributing factors include UV damage, vascular injury, skin inflammation, and genetic predisposition.

Solution – IPL Laser Treatment

The most effective method for couperose and rosacea is IPL EXILITE laser therapy. The laser targets only affected blood vessels; damaged vessels are sealed, and collagen production is activated, strengthening vessel walls and preventing rapid rupture.

A course of 3–4 procedures is recommended, with 2–4 weeks between sessions. After treatment, redness significantly decreases or disappears, with results lasting several years. During flare-ups (burning, tingling, red pustules), laser procedures should be combined with dermatologist-prescribed medication.
